Fed: Howard dismisses poll showing Rudd preferred PM

CANBERRA, Feb 20 AAP - Prime Minister John Howard says a new poll showing Labor leader
Kevin Rudd as preferred prime minister just makes him want to work harder.

Mr Rudd already has played down the poll, which shows 47 per cent of voters would prefer
him as prime minister over Mr Howard on 37 per cent.

Mr Rudd's approval rating has soared to 68 per cent in the Newspoll published in The
