NSW: Plane lands on golf course
SYDNEY, Feb 21 AAP - A pilot was forced to crash land his single-engine plane on a Sydney
golf course today after developing engine trouble.
A police spokesman said the pilot was forced to ditch the plane on the thirteenth green at
Pymble Golf Club in the city's north this afternoon.
The impact of the crash ripped the wings and tail off the plane which knocked down several
trees as it crashed onto the fairway, club spokesman John Cormio said.
"It's my favourite green...the plane knocked down a couple of trees and left a fairly big
