Oct. 11--Chattanooga and North Georgia are home to several Trail of Tears historic sites, but the average out-of-town visitor might have trouble finding them. That slowly is changing as the National Park Service installs more road signs that lead visitors to sites along the Trail of Tears National Historic Trail. A group of about 25 local officials, American Indians and community leaders on Tuesday dedicated four new signs for the John Ross home in Ross- ville during a ceremony at the house.
